Legacy RefWorks upgrade to ProQuest RefWorks


Answer

On 30 June 2023, Legacy RefWorks will no longer be available. This will not affect users of ProQuest RefWorks which is the latest version of RefWorks. 

  • Web addresses for Legacy RefWorks accounts begins www.refworks.com 

  • Web addresses for ProQuest RefWorks begin: refworks.proquest.com  

 

Timeline 

On the 20 June 2023, all Legacy RefWorks accounts that contain at least one reference and have been logged into within the last 10 years (since 1st June 2013) will be upgraded to ProQuest RefWorks. 

Between 20 June and 30 June 2023 legacy RefWorks will still be available in the usual way.   

Between 30 June and 28 October 2023 Legacy RefWorks account information will be retained by RefWorks. Users should contact RefWorks if they need access to a legacy RefWorks account after June 30 2023.
