When are my items due back?
Answer
Any books that you have on loan will usually renew automatically at the end of each loan period.
Loans will not be renewed if:
- books you have on loan are requested by someone else
- you have had them for 52 weeks already
- your library account has expired because you’re due to finish your course.
Note: You are only guaranteed the item for its current loan period. Items that can't be renewed need to be returned as soon as possible.
It is recommended that you check My Library Account regularly to avoid fines.
My Library Account
My Library Account gives you access to a range of self-service facilities.
You can use My Library Account to:
- Check which items you have on loan and when they are due back
- Check whether items you have requested are ready for you
- Cancel requests that you no longer need
- Check if you owe any fines and pay them online
- Check whether you have any messages from the Library or blocks on your account
